Orange Crescent - (2)Blends

Alright, 2 different blends that came in separate packages. Neither had a name and both list the same ingredients. The amounts on the tray are both less than what comes in the bags. At least .75g of each had already been burnt.

The top one in the picture has a nice, mellow, orange scent. The consistency is awesome. Not too dry, just kinda fun to handle. Rolls perfectly for burning. I would put it in the upper medium grade incense when it comes to strength. I can't say enough good things about the overall appeal of this product.

The bottom one has a much more potent orange aroma. It's darker and looks like different herbs. Doesn't burn as well, when rolled but is just as strong. Both blends last a little over an hour when a .25g is burnt.

I wish they would have named or labeled the samples differently. The top one is the way to go. It really is one of my favorites.

Bayou Blaster

Ok, I read many good things about this blend. Supposed to be super strong. So, of course I was happy when I received it as a sample.

Does it work? Is it strong?

Well, first I opened the bag. Ouch, man, what the hell? It smells like that gator on the front just had it's nails done. My senses could be off and it could be a mint that's in it but it smells of nail polish remover. The herbs are completely dry, even crumbly to an extent, so you wouldn't think it was from acetone. It would have evaporated. But what smells are left from nail polish remover that isn't 100% acetone? I dunno, hopefully not what I'm smelling.

Against good judgment, I decide to burn some. Only a small amount. Hmm, definitely more minty now. Well, it does work and it is up there in strength. The material itself actually looks appealing and it works quite well but that smell. I can't get passed it. There is too many other options to use something that doesn't fully do it for you.

K2 - Sex on the Mountain

This will probably be of interest to you folks who reside in a state that feels they can make better decisions for you, than stupid, little you. That's right, "Sex on the Mountain" is supposed to be legal everywhere. So, the burning question is "does it work?"

Let's find out.

As the package is opened, my nostrils perk up. It takes a minute...Brandy. But not some cheap swill, it smells like it's been aged in an oak barrel. A pleasant change from some of the pizza seasoning smelling blends. It rolls well, smokes good and most importantly, it works.

45 minutes later and back to normal. The scent didn't give any type of head ache and overall pretty clean. It could be stronger but if you're state sucks, this is a good choice.

What's Out There?

Most of us have either tried or heard of K2, Serenity Now or Spice. Your local shop may have a few other choices but there is much more out there. Some try to ride the K2 name with different scents. Others decide to be original and come up with their own name and graphics. Most all of them work well, even if some piggyback others success.

I have over 25 different blends to go through and test for everybody. A few of them are: K2 "Sex on the Mountain", Bayou Blaster, Texas Gold and G.I. Jane.

If anyone wants a certain blend reviewed, leave a comment with where to find it.
